Tell us about yourself, what is your professional background before RC hobby,
and how did you get into RC hobby ?

I am a Director/DP from Los Angeles, and still am currently.  First got into it through Aerial Cinematography, and quickly found mini quads to satisfy my urges for adrenaline. 

 

Share us the mindset and reasons for opening AerialGP,

and a small note about the AGP Vision and future.

April 13th 2014 was the day AerialGP was born, the afternoon we were filming at the Toyota Grand Prix for Indycar. AerialGP exists because we wanted to create a vision for aerial racing starting with the mini quadcopters, scaling up to full size unmanned aircraft.  
  
What is it like to take part in the biggest FPV event in the world, The World Drone Prix in Dubai ?

It's a blessing, and an honor to be side by side with some of the most influential individuals and governments in the world. Together, we hope to reach our goal of creating something that is inspirational, and in the interest of humanity.

What is AGP Role in this amazing event?
AGP is an official partner of the World Drone Prix, and we are very honored to be in this position.

 

Please explain in short about AGP compared to all other regulators like MultiGP, Nationals and so ?

AGP is meant to be a reflection of our vision of future aerial sport. We created the rules and regulations of what was possible from the pilots in 2014, and we will continue to challenge pilot skills and technology by evolving our rules and race formats as we move into 2016. We would like to think of ourselves not as "regulators," but "innovators."

How do you see the future of FPV Racing as a hobby and as an entertainment sport ?

In the next few years we hope to evolve into a mature aerial racing sport, in which filmmakers have dreamed of through their films in history.  

 

One of the biggest questions is how do you keep the general crowed entertained during events,

what is your take on it ?

The main focus is always the race- if the participants and competitors are passionate, disciplined, and strive for excellence, that itself will generate a pure following.  

 

What do you think about FRIL events and contribution to the FPV scene?

I love the passion and dedication of groups such as FRIL, who clearly understand comradery, friendship, and sportsmanship.

The one thing I absolutely love about the FPV racing, is that it has brought so many people together no matter what beliefs or backgrounds people have.  I love the energy I see from Israel, and I hope to visit soon to do some flying with the people there!
